Duncan Ferguson is one of the most iconic and powerful strikers of his generation. Born in Stirling, he rose to prominence at Dundee United before moving to England, where he became a legendary figure at Everton. Known for his aerial strength, leadership and passion, Ferguson was adored by his club’s supporters and played a key role in many memorable moments for Everton – including lifting the FA Cup in 1995. A prolific English Premier League goalscorer, he also represented the Scotland national football team and remains one of Stirling’s most famous footballing exports.
